Data Page Column Reference
|The ARN column is the unique resource identifier for each resource that you have in AWS. This identifier can be used in AWS to extract more details about the AWS resource.
|The reservation ARN is the ARN of a purchased reserved instance. This column will usually be blank unless the reserved instance is being applied to the resource.
|Savings Plan ARN
|The savings plan ARN is the ARN of a purchased savings plan. This column will usually be blank unless a savings plan is being applied to the resource.
|The AWS account name that the resource exists within.
|The AWS service that the resource is a part of.
The usage cost is the amortized cost of the specific resource for the usage code, sub-usage code, and payment code combination. See AWS cost definitions
Filtering to show only records where kind is "usage", and then grouping by "kind" on the Data Page is equivalent to Usage Mode on the Cost Page. The values in the Total Usage Cost column will match those in Usage Mode.
The financial cost is the unblended cost of a specific resource. See AWS cost definitions
Grouping by "kind" with no filter on the Data Page is equivalent to the values seen in Financial Mode on the Cost Page. The values in the Total Financial Cost column will match those in Financial Mode.
|The Kind is the kind of cost that is being represented. Examples of kind are usage, credits, savings plan discounts, tax, and support.
|Usage and Sub-Usage Code
|The usage and sub usage code fields are used to break down the cost for a service into the respective charges that you receive. For example, the charges for EC2 can be broken down into the usage and data transfer.
|For some types of charges you will see a resource type which specifies the specific type of instance that is incurring the charges. For example, c3.2xlarge or db.m4.2xlarge.
