The AWS Foundational Technical Review (FTR) is an assessment process provided by AWS to help customers evaluate the foundational architecture of their AWS resources. It is designed to ensure that customers' workloads and applications are built on a secure, reliable, performant, operationally excellent, and cost-optimized foundation.
To support customers complete their Partner Hosted FTR and maintain a secure and well-architected AWS environment, Stax has released a new Partner Hosted FTR Rule Bundle. This bundle includes a set of rules that automate the assessment of customers' AWS environments against a number of the FTR requirements, accelerating the evaluation process by providing assurance that requirements are met. You can add this Bundle to your Stax tenancy to kick start your FTR journey.
What type of organizations should use this bundle?
Although the Stax Partner Hosted FTR Rule Bundle can be used by any organization wanting to improve the secure and reliability of their AWS environment, the bundle is intended for AWS Partners conducting an AWS FTR with solutions hosted on AWS, for example, SaaS solutions. You can use the AWS Foundational Technical Review Checklist Index to verify the applicable FTR they should perform.
