Manage API Tokens

Change the description, access level or tags of your existing API Token, or delete an API Token that you no longer need.

Before You begin​

  • You need to be an Admin in your Stax tenancy

Edit an API Token​

  1. Log in to the Stax console
  2. Open the customer menu in the left-hand nav (click the arrow next to your organization alias)
  3. Click API Tokens
  4. Select the API Token you would like to edit to open the drawer, or
  5. Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) located to the right of the API Token and click View details The API Token Details details drawer will open
  6. Select the edit icon
  7. Make the required adjustments to the API Token's description, role and/or tags
  8. Click Save token

Changes to the API Token's role will be reflected once you reinitialize the SDK in a new shell.

Delete an API Token​

  1. Log in to the Stax console
  2. Open the customer menu in the left-hand nav (click the arrow next to your organization alias)
  3. Click API Tokens
  4. Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) located to the right of the API Token you want to delete
  5. Select Delete token
  6. Confirm you want to delete the API Token and select Delete token
