Networking Hub Peering

Networking Hub Peering allows you to connect Stax Networking Hubs to other networks. It makes connecting Stax networks with other Stax networks, and with other AWS networks elsewhere simple. Paired with Advanced Routing, it provides a fully featured network connectivity capability for new and existing networks in AWS.

Hubs can be peered with other Hubs in the same region, other Hubs in another region, and to Transit Gateways not managed by Stax.

Supported Peering Methods

Networking Hub Peering supports connecting networks in AWS using several different methods:

  1. Stax Resource peering connects two Stax Networking Hubs
  2. Stax Account peering connects a Stax Networking Hub with a Transit Gateway not managed by Stax in a Stax-managed AWS account. This could include a network in an account that predates Stax, or if a bespoke networking configuration is required
  3. External peering connects a Stax Networking Hub with a Transit Gateway in an AWS account not managed by Stax
